Although originally scheduled for the Fall of 2017, we have moved the date of the inaugural Greenbrier Concours d'Elegance to May 4-6, 2018.
On June 23, 2016, a flood hit White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia and nearby parts of Virginia, resulting in 23 deaths. The flooding was the result of 8 to 10 inches (200 to 250 mm) of rain falling over a period of 12 hours, resulting in a flood that was among the deadliest in West Virginia history.
It was the deadliest flash flood event in the United States since the 2010 Tennessee floods. As a result of the damage to the resort, the Concours date had to be readjusted.
The Greenbrier is making this adjsutment in order to complete necessary repairs to the property to prepare for the inaugural Greenbrier Concours d'Elegance.
